A journey that began with a passion and a dream.

I'm Kavitha Sridhar, the founder of Alankrutha — a brand born from my love for all things elegant and handcrafted. With a background in Business Administration and a Master’s in Management, I started my professional journey in the corporate world. But life, in its beautiful way, nudged me toward a more meaningful path — one that allowed me to raise my two wonderful children while also rediscovering my creative spark.

Even as I stepped away from my career, the desire to be financially independent and to uplift young girls through education always stayed with me. Sarees and blouses, in particular, held a special place in my heart since childhood. Designing, selecting fabrics, and styling garments brought me immense joy — something my friends and family fondly appreciated.

When I couldn't find the kind of timeless, elegant blouses I envisioned, I decided to create them myself — and thus, Namanaa Alankrutha was born. Alankrutha, the name, inspired by the Sanskrit word meaning ‘Made Ready’, reflects our vision of crafting beautifully tailored, ready-to-wear designer blouses and handmade clutches

Each blouse we create is a product of meticulous effort — from fabric selection to design, embroidery, tailoring and finishing.

Each clutch is one-of-a-kind, thoughtfully designed to complement your traditional and contemporary wear.

Namanaa Alankrutha is more than just a brand — it’s a journey of dreams, values, and purposeful creation. A percentage of our proceeds continues to go toward the education of underprivileged girls, helping them pursue their aspirations just as I pursued mine.
